CINDERELA AU
PIDW is actually a retelling of Cinderella. In it, the protagonist, Luo Binghe, is left in the care of an old friend of his adoptive mother after her death: Shen Jiu takes Luo Binghe in but uses him for domestic work and treats him like a servant. On top of that, Luo Binghe suffers mistreatment from Ming Fan, another boy Shen Jiu has taken in and treats with far more privilege, unlike Luo Binghe.In the story, when Luo Binghe turns 20, the king of the kingdom is hosting a ball so the princess can choose a husband who will become the future king. Determined to attend, Luo Binghe discovers a way to summon a demon and makes a request. The demon grants his wishes, and Luo Binghe goes to the ball. Then, it follows the Cinderella story everyone knows, except… Luo Binghe ends up becoming a powerful king who conquers all the neighboring kingdoms and has a harem in the three digits, blah blah blah. Oh, and he captures, tortures, and keeps Shen Jiu locked in the dungeons of his palace!When Shen Yuan dies, he ends up in the body of Shen Qingqiu, the man who shelters and mistreats Luo Binghe (who is still a teenager). Determined not to meet such a horrible end as in the original version, he treats Luo Binghe well, very well, even excessively so. Despite this, when the ball arrives, Luo Binghe is prevented from going by Shen Qingqiu.Luo Binghe then manages to get his fairy godmother to help him attend the ball, but when he arrives, he refuses to dance with the princess. After all, all he truly wants is to dance with Shen Qingqiu that night.

HOTEL AU

A story set in a steampunk, space-opera universe, inspired by Disney films like Atlantis and Treasure Planet. The story centers on Shen Qingqiu, a university astrophysics professor who becomes involved in a journey around Earth’s atmosphere to investigate rumors of alien sightings. When they encounter a space submarine and are attacked, Shen Qingqiu, along with Liu Qingge and Shang Qinghua, is taken prisoner aboard this ship.Inside, he meets the ship's captain, Luo Binghe, who once was his student. Shen Qingqiu is fascinated by the ship’s engineering, and Luo Binghe is willing to explore the solar system with him, all while keeping him captive.The idea of this fanfic is to be a slow-burn romance, building their relationship through numerous intellectual conversations on topics like cosmology, astronomy, and physics. Alongside plenty of science fiction to justify the events, Shen Qingqiu tries to unravel the mysterious identity of Luo Binghe

PROGRESS (Update 12/101/25)

There was a massive storm outside the Qing Jing Inn.In addition to the devastating wind pushing some trees and threatening to cause significant damage to the residence, the rain fell with an intensity strong enough to affect the building and begin to seep inside — a problem that would need to be solved once the weather calmed down.At the moment, Shen Qingqiu was more concerned with savoring his tea than dealing with these problems and stresses caused by the storm.That was until, by some twist of fate, he heard knocking at the door.
He was in the lobby, flipping through the pages of a book nonchalantly, focusing more on the pleasant sound of the storm than the written content on the pages. Perhaps, if asked, he wouldn’t even be able to say what he was reading. He ignored it for a few seconds, listening as the knocking continued, growing more aggressive, and after almost a full minute of the same sound, he realized that ignoring it would not be a viable option. With a huff, he stood up and went to open the door in the midst of the storm.
His eyes widened as he saw a child standing in the rain.Upon realizing their pleas had been answered, the child immediately lifted their gaze, staring at him intently, their body soaked, legs and hands trembling from the cold. “Please, let me in,” he begged in a low voice, the wind starting to push through the doorway and into the inn.Shen Qingqiu shut the door in the child's face.
He could still hear the pleading cries from outside. He knew well that the inn was located in a more remote area and understood that the child would have no other place to go. The child had likely tried knocking on other doors without success. For the next few seconds, the child continued knocking and begging for shelter.“Please, please, I have nowhere to go,” he almost shouted. Shen Qingqiu could hear his desperate sobbing, the way he continued to speak, mentioning things Shen Qingqiu barely paid attention to in the end — something about his mother having died just days ago, something about the shelter he had being completely flooded, something about being able to cook, clean, anything to have a place to stay.Shen Qingqiu didn’t want any problems in his life, and between taking in a boy whose origin was unknown or letting him die at his door, dealing with a corpse blocking the passage seemed more practical.Even so, for some reason Shen Qingqiu couldn’t fathom, he opened the door again.“Come in,” he said, short and curt.The boy’s eyes lit up; he didn’t seem to be more than fourteen years old. Even so, he was completely battered, his hair disheveled, and if he didn’t take a bath soon, he would likely catch a cold from being so drenched by the rain.On that stormy autumn night, Luo Binghe didn’t know he was stepping into the house of a demon.Nor did Shen Qingqiu know that a demon was stepping into his home.
